Common Sense is the female wanna b male man......turnsout heshe is just a ninny...BWHAHAHAHA!

I've Decided Not To Continue Being Part Of The 1440 KEYS Morning Show on Tuesdays
Posted on June 23, 2007 at 11:11:10 PM by Homer Villarreal

The reason: Due to the strict censorship of my recent research/exposes on the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and especially one involving the "stifling of some small businesses" by some archons/affilites of "big business." I had enough objective data to share indepth and analytical editorials with the listeners.

I hold no "ill will" against the station nor the staff. I came with clean hands and thus I leave with clean hands.

Let us watch the rating plummet to an all time low. A speck on the floor.

Homer, I was so wrong about you. I had only listen to the "proganda" about you. Once I heard you on radio -- you blasted socialists as well as those cornering the economic market. You made me a believer in you overall goals - a fair playing field both for Anglos and Hispanics and all others that deserve it. You made us feel as one.

He has he holds no "ill feelings" toward anyone in the station. "I cam with clean hands and I leave with clean hands" he writes.

I liked his Nueces County politics because I think he did have a grasp on things. I did not like that he could not see things outside of racial lines on illegal immigration.

I like Bob''s views. It is good to hear that his conservatism irritates you Curm. What is really happening is your anarchist values are beginning to crumble to common sense (no pun intended)

But sometimes I wonder how accurate the information he was fed is. I''ve heard a few things he said that were ABSOLUTELY not true. Point is, I''m glad to see him gone - he was a mouthpiece for either disenfranchised or disowned politicos.

Curtis, you bias is that your have made your living off the scraps the big boys decide to give to you.

The EDC and such organized parties using our tax money are dangerous. Homer was the only one to take them on. His ""small business"" vs ""big business"" concept transcend ethic lines - no doubt about it.

Bob benefit from the counter-reaction he
got.

CCISD: Freedom of Information Request: The process the CCISD Board used is unethical and unfair.

CCISD: Freedom of Information Request: The process the CCISD Board used is unethical and unfair.

CCISD: Freedom of Information Request: The process the CCISD Board used is unethical and unfair.

Freedom of Information Request

This Publication request any and all communications including email and written correspondence from one week before Trustee Harry Williams resigned.

Must I formalize it on Monday?

Think I am bluffing?

You gotta ask yourself

Do you feel lucky?

Well Do ya?

Go ahead.........

You guys get the idea?

Now, don't go and seek the OAG's opinion as it will delay our children.

Just fess up and conduct business with honor and integrity and at least give us an appearance of due process. Not one black appointment. You guys are definitely walking on thin ice or maybe already fallen through but just don't know it. Such inadequacy is unacceptable.

CORPUS CHRISTI - CCISD school board members interviewed five candidates Friday to fill the board position vacated by Reverend Harry Williams.

The school board said it will set another meeting to discuss the finalists, and will possibly make a decision then, but still no word on when that would be.

Williams served the school board for more than seven years before resigning last month.

Nick Adame
"Do not be a disservice to our community and choose because this guy is my friend or this guy is my business associate," Dr. Nick Adame said. "I don't want to hear that. I want to hear that we're going to choose somebody because they're going to do right for the community."

Last week, the board narrowed the list of 20 candidates to five
Kenedeno:

Where is the criteria the process for "narrowing the list"?

The process the CCISD Board used is unethical and unfair. Every single applicant took the time to fill out an application, and the thought process for the letter of interest and update of their resume and references. For all intensive purposes this CCISD Board just threw that work product into the trash can while opting for business partners, friends cronies and industry allies.

It is not about the 5 selected it is about how the 5 were selected. It is not about Barrera or Prezas or Bill Clark or Lucy Rubio.

It is about a change of policy where policy is defined by processes of the past. Lucy is the only one with the guts to make the motion, "for the board to scrap the current process and start over. There was no second to the motion." Are there others in that room who agree with her, but politically, they are bound & gagged. The current process is in conflict with current policy. The current process is now a civil rights issue. Is that what CCISD wanted, another Cisneros v CCISD?

We have 19 Candidates who deserve Equal Opportunity and fair consideration. It is called due process.

1. Herbert Cromwell Arbuckle, III Retired Teacher
2. Rolando G. Barrera Insurance Agent
3. Tony C. Diaz, Ed.D. Retired CCISD Administrator
4. Victor Frazier, Ed.D. Minister and University Instructor
5. Cezar Galindo Business Owner and College Instructor
6. Marsha Lynn Grace Professor of Education
7. Coretta Graham Lawyer
8. Helen Gurley, Ph.D. Educator, Director of Academics
9. Patricia Harris Educator
10. Robert Elliott Jones Pastor and Business Manager
11. Deborah W. Johnson Retired Firefighter
12. Bradford Lee Kisner Director of Music and Fine Arts
13. Verna Faye Portis Retired CCISD Administrator
14. Raul R. Prezas, Ed.D. College Professor
15. Norman Haden Ransleben Certified Public Accountant
16. Woodrow Mac Sanders Medical Social Worker
17. Ronald G. Sepulveda Athletic Aquatic Superintendent
18. George Wetzel Retired Public School Administrator/Consultant
19. Goldie Lamarr Wooten Retired Educator

Rubio has said she disagrees with the selection process and would have preferred to use a scoring system instead.

Trustees selected the five candidates to be interviewed by each nominating one from a pool of 20 applicants.

We elect you guys to represent the district with honor & integrity

But before trustees interviewed the first candidate, trustee Lucy Rubio motioned for the board to scrap the current process and start over. There was no second to the motion.

Rubio has said she disagrees with the selection process and would have preferred to use a scoring system instead.

CCCT Editorial

The trustees' refusal to lay out the cards is beyond irritating; it borders on the outrageous.

Particularly disturbing is the fact that three new trustees elected last year - Carol Scott, John Longoria and Dwayne Hargis, all of whom emphasized their intent to bring new openness to the board - appear to have bought into the mum's-the-word ethos that has dominated this exercise.

To be sure, they (and their colleagues) could, and should, reverse their field.

CCISD Trustees: Pick and choose Policy Making with malice. Shame on YOU.

CORPUS CHRISTI - CCISD school board members have decided not to change their policy which forbids seniors who fail the TAKS from graduating.

One parent we spoke with Thursday said the policy didn't make sense, because while students who fail the TAKS test during the school year aren't allowed to take part in graduation ceremonies. The same doesn't hold true for summer school grads. They're allowed to participate in summer graduation ceremonies without knowing whether they passed the test.

The decision didn't sit well with some parents and students.

School board member Lucy Rubio had hoped to amend the policy, and allow seniors who failed the TAKS to at least walk in with their class during may commencement. But other school board members didn't agree.

The power of the blogger

Congratulations to Carlyn Mitchell, who in the December 04, 2006 "Mix of society’s elite, less-heard voices puts local political blog scene on track with national trend" newpaper in The Monitor, got it right. There is a power of that lies with a good blogger. The article talks about State Rep. Aaron Pena's site, Shaine Mata's sites, Edinburg Councilman Gene Espinoza's site, Edinburg Councilman Gus Garcia's site and yours truly.

As stated in The Monitor, "the top dog in the Edinburg blogosphere is undoubtedly 'Earn My Vote' — whose identity vexes his or her cyber-enemies as much as fans who simply refer to said individual as 'Earn.'"

The article even points out to the clothing line on CafePress.com. "Earn" has even created a clothing line on CafePress.com, selling T-shirts and women’s thongs printed with his handle. The phrase, "I am Earn My Vote," is also available, demonstrating "Earn’s" fun with the web-community’s fascination with the blog.

Mark Tremayne, a journalism professor at the University of Texas at Austin, says "many national influential bloggers who engage in actual reporting rather than opinion writing — which fuels the largest percentage of blogs — get hired on by the mainstream media, the credibility of which cannot afford to get scooped."

Do I hear anyone calling? :) Joking!

Congratulations to Carlyn Mitchell for a job well done.

  • Lol... I guess if Edinburg News took a page out of your book by reporting facts which are verifiable instead of the rumors, lies and other crap that they try to pass of as truth, they would have been noticed. It's really actually pretty funny. It seems that the writer of Edinburg News was either embarrassed or dumped by a memeber of the Palacios family and hasn't gotten over it. Let me give you a little piece of advice whoever you are. You may not have gotten over it, but I'm pretty sure they don't care. Whichever one of them it is, most likely doesn't even think about you but you obviously think about them constantly. Lol!!! You don't even know what a joke you are do you? Anyway, Congrats to "Earn" for being named as the top dog by the Monitor.

  • Earn, isn't most of what is found here based upon your opinion of candidates? Basically, what you do is state something which actually happened, and then you put your own personal spin on the matter, and that is what you call opinion.

  • Earn, congratulations on the newspaper piece. All of you are doing a valuable service to the community.

Wow, what insight. I couldn't tell. By the way, do you ever read the newspaper??? Every article there is written based on facts with the writers interpretation of how they see it or choose to report it. The point is, that unlike other hack blog sites (ie. Edinburg News), this one is based on VERIFIABLE FACTS.

  • Congrats Earn,

but if I could I have to comment that Rio Grande Valley Politics turned off it's anonymous comments when people started commenting on the corruption of Kino Flores. Did he or did he not report on his ethics report that he got free services with Carlos Manrique? And why is Martinez doing the same? This sure looks dirty.

  • Sorry 12:43 but I agree with 9:36 to a certain extent. There are times when Earn gets it right, and backs his/her stuff well, and other times when it is so obviously spun to present his distorted view of an issue. What gets me, is that people eat the spin crap up and believe it for fact when if you brush off the BS (spin) you'll see there is really nothing there...just like The Paper.

    By Anonymous, at 4:06 PM

  • 1:02, I believe the reason why the Politicos disabled the anonymous comments has to do with the spam. If you noticed recently, they have had quite a bit of advertisers posting on their blog, and by disabling anonymous comments they have blocked those types of people from posting...unfortunately, this also includes everyone else.

By Truth Be Told, at 4:12 PM

  • Come on David Diaz your nothing but a coward. We know you run Rio Grande Valley Politics and Edinburg News who is paying you today bitch.

    By Anonymous, at 4:25 PM

  • A valuable service to the community? That is total bull shit. None of this is doing anything for our community. This is all based on fucking opinions of the various political sects which currenlty reside in Hidalgo County. I call them sects because that is what they are essentially. You're either for Ramon, The PClan, or for the rats in La Joya, and that is what all of this bullshit boils down to. I think that Earn and the other asses could put their minds to good use if they decided to focus on causes which could actually benefit the Hidalgo Community as a whole, if not a city or two. Have any of you ever walked the streets of Edinburg or any other city and smelled all the noxious fumes which are killing our environment and possilbly our childrens future, but yet no one gives a fuck about that. In stead, we have to read about the pot smoking, wife beating piece of shit Omar. Fine, but the asshole had already lost the race, so why waste time on that idiot. Also, look at all the prestine land which is being turned into dollar signs, which will eventually lead to pollution and shit that ain't good in the long run? God's creatures are quickly running out of room to lay their heads, but no one cares about that. Also, what about all the careless spending that is being done the the school board in Edinburg, and the city of Deadinburg, what about that? Find a cause, stick to it, and use your smarts for that, and not the main bull shit that you see here!

  • Did she really get it right? Calling you a viable source of news...is that really correct?

You have solid investigative skills but unfortunately your opinions seem to pour through the writing in your blog.

It is hard to take this blog as a viable source for news when you make comments which are absurd.
(Saddam Ochoa and your many other outlashes)

You have a gift. But in order to be taken as a viable source, less thrashing needs to be observed

  • Can someone please tell me where in the hell Carolyn M. wrote that Earn was a "viable sourse of news" because I didn't read that anywhere in her arcticle? Actually, I belive that Carolyn did a great job pointing out that this blog is what it is: a medium used to state one's opinions. And, that was hit home with the interview she did with the professor from UT. And, what he stated was that "about 2 percent of the content on blogs contains actual reporting," and, as you can see, the percetage is less than that here. It was great that Carolyn pointed out Earn's disdain for Joe, which definitely portrays her for who she is: another joe with an opinion. Thank you Carolyn!

    By Anonymous, at 11:20 AM

  • Please give me a break about Omar Guerrero. He did it to himself. He is where he is because of the decisions he made. You can't tell me for one second that he never made a decision based on revenge or personal whims. He is by far the most corrupt politician that Hidalgo County has ever seen and that's saying alot. You can try and make a saint out a sinner, but I will see Omar Guerreo for what he really his. A loser!

Corpus Christi Mayors Advisory Committee Member Bob Jones Announcement in a nutshell "Would've made Jaime Proud"

WATT did Bob Jones say about an email?

Is there something wrong with the server at the 1440 AM KEYS Station?

LOL

:)

Remember the airwaves went silent on the Tuesday before?

We announced this expose a week before. Originally, It was supposed to begin the week when Bertuzzi came into the station for the show.

"Tuesday August 1 will be one of the best shows Homer will put"

Anyway, any who know Homer, know that he is very secretive, but he needed help to forensically analyze this information / data.

Somebody at City Hall already knew. Somebody started keeping closer tabs on the file transactions. By then the All American’s were just hoping we couldn’t find a needle in the haystack. This time, the only difference is we (Kenedeno & Associates) sent a “time released” Press Release. The delayed arrival, specifically to certain entities has never been a question in the past. Why this Tuesday? The goal was to give Bob and Gifford a little bit of their own medicine. How does it feel to be BUSHWHACKED? Simply, we negated the unfair Home Field Advantage by eliminating any opportunity (of treachery) to interfere or censor, as has been the case recently with KEYS. Ambushed by Bob or is it Gifford doing the sabotage? Remember all of those calls where you dealt with me the most expedient way? The button won’t silence us. As explained previously, “You can’t do that to Jaime Kenedeno”. Also it is my pen name, not my alias. You Bob Jones are the one reaping dividends from the JOB you were losing when we started El Defenzor Live in an Alliance with you. Such a gracious reception you present. You are a better man than that Bob Jones!

The Mayors Advisory Board Bob?

Please?

And if we got paid the big bucks, “show me the money” cuz I haven’t seen the Benjamins.

How much were we paid?

Who paid us?

Cause, if we got paid we need to collect.

You sure can talk when nobody is allowed to respond Mr Jones. Try it next Tuesday.

Try letting somebody else say something without interrupting for a change.

And it was Susie who really rattled your chain. And she did a good JOB too. You even opened the door for her. Yeah, I know, she was anticipating that.

We expect the objective respect of all South Texas Politicos and to bring transparency and term limits to our system.

So when Shamsie is being pinche and the whole courthouse must start “squeezing that nickel till the Indian is riding the buffalo” and things start to deteriorate.

We bring it to their doorstep.

Or when the All American City Council is so busy spending and usurping the taxpayers that they cannot readily spare the brains to fix a leaky roof.

We bring it to their doorstep.

WATT an embarrassment and slap in the face to our city as a whole.

Oh yeah, I forgot the jail is a moneymaker for Nueces County. Sure, it was sacrificed for as long as possible in the interest of a tight budget (handed down from Shamsie & Commissioners). This is the primary reason that Shamsie made enemies. There are two questionable contract awards IMO; the Rainbow Building and the Alarm Contract.

The leaky All American City hall spends money like it grows on Trees, but they got much bigger and better things to do than repair a leaky roof. It is easier to strategically design and engineer the bucket placement. I wonder how much that cost? Contractual Overruns is a specialty discipline. Keep ‘em coming back for more. Is this just poor fiscal management or is there a Racket (or maybe a leak somewhere)?

It is not for the good of economic development it is purely to enrich the few as a for profit development. The deals are not in good faith to the City of Corpus Christi. We are paying way too much for this serial oversight, I mean due to these “ALL AMERICAN Overruns of Exorbitant Profit” are we not getting fleeced? This All American Fultonian Virus; will we allow it to OVERRUN our Nueces County Budget like it has done with our city budget?

Don’t blame us for the Lloyd Neal sanctioned Calculated Miscalculations.

We only found it. Our All American Leadership did it in the name of Economic Development. Everything is right there in writing, but it was buried under a thousand or so pages of who knows WATT. I guess that is another JUAN of those miscalculations. If you think we are going away then you are making another miscalculation. However, here at Kenedeno & Associates when it comes to contract adherence & overruns; we practice SOP as per our Mifflin Kenedy Contract Adhere / Overrun Policy.

Read it on the air Bob and then go to the phones Bob?

I triple dare you.

My regards always

Jaime Kenedeno

Tuesday, august 1, will be a one the best shows Homer will put.

This site has cemented my opinion of Aztlan. I had hoped that there was a glimmer of hope that a bridge could be made but that is impossible. Mike G seems to be the lone voice of reason but no one listens to him.

Homer has been a huge disappointment for me. Huge. And to be honest, I'm hurt that my hopes have been crushed.

Jaime my friend, you and D1 have a good life. If I see you in some other blog be sure to say hi.

This past Tuesday I was on my way to the barbershop and caught the last few minutes of the Bob Jones show. Homer was talking about Bertuzzi saying he wouldn't support any Hispanic or something to that effect and Bertuzzu called in and called him a liar. It sounded like a chinese fire drill with everyone trying to talk at once. A regular free for all.

That means Bertuzzi was listening

I am sure POLITICOS will be tuned in. Who wouldnt want to be informed of the documented trails of money that purchase favor in Nueces County.

Republicans and Democrats dont want to hear it when it is focused on their candidate.
